Portfolio Evaluations
Portfolio Evaluations Portfolios may be reviewed using the Track Changes feature in Microsoft Word. This will allow participants to approve/reject changes, and gain feedback more quickly. To view a quick tutorial on how Track Changes will be used to evaluate portfolios, view this short video. To access tutorials from on Track Changes for Microsoft Office 2003 and Microsoft Office 2007, visit this web site.
Portfolios may also be reviewed as received and email feedback given. Either of these methods is based on instructor preference. Contact your instructor to find out more about portfolio evaluation.
Suggestions for good portfolios:
*resize images/screen shots to 3 x 3 inches so they demonstrate the concept and do not take over the page
*make sure reflections meet the 150-300 word guides; capstones should be 2-3 pages.
*proofread your work!
*use educational examples - NOT personal ones.
Participants are encouraged sign a portfolio release form (part of the Worklog/Time log document) so that samples may be shared with future Cohorts.
Final portfolios should reflect all revisions.
